Reich studied medicine in Vienna there but soon was discovered by Sigmund Freud who trained him to be a psychoanalyst. In 1930, Freud had expanded upon and demanded that sexuality should be expressed freely.
Reich, who died in 1957 in the United States, was famous for the discovery and creation of Orgon. The name is a confluence of the words “orgasm” and “organism.” Reich said that the Orgon was a primal force omnipresent life energy. He was convinced that this could even heal cancer.
